Luis Bacó
Mr. Bacó has strong government affairs experience developed through his positions as Congressional Chief-of-Staff to former Puerto Rico Resident Commissioner and Governor Luis Fortuño, and to Puerto Rico’s Congresswoman and now Governor of Puerto Rico, Jenniffer Gonzalez. Luis served as the Congresswoman’s chief policy advisor and oversaw the legislative efforts leading to Puerto Rico’s recovery in the aftermath of the devastating hurricanes of 2017. He was also responsible for shaping the overall strategic vision of the Congresswoman’s health care, economic development, energy, and foreign affairs agenda. Mr Bacó also served as government relations consultant in Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and Latin America. He holds a J.D. from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a Masters’ of Law (LL.M.) in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University.
